All of these come from the Duke University Archive, there are 100s more spanning almost 100 years. These are just some of my favourites.

These guys are spooky, not the kind of people you want to mess around with. Really sinister stuff if you ask me.

Some of these are really wild, especially the Post-WW2 Pulp magazine stuff. Obviously not safe for a Christian Minecraft Server, but it goes hand in hand with how "in-your-face" advertising was at the time.

I think there was an outrage over these so they don't make them anymore, but the DEA used to do badass patches to commemorate successful missions

Ads, album covers, signs, and other stuff that never heard the word subtle. I like making stuff in this style, but it's almost like you have to be doing it unintentionally to get it right

Kowloon Walled City was a small area within Hong Kong that belonged to Mainland China, which turned it into a perfect place to go for people with no paperwork or warrants. It grew in size until they demolished it in the 90s

A collection of background images pulled from online slot machines.

A bunch of pictures I've collected over the past decade of cars, mostly GM. I don't know why I have most of these saved, but they look cool

Sexy mid-century design, mostly pulled from Canada Modern. This look was still around for my childhood, but it seems like there's hardly any left in my area now

He'll Yeah Brother, Rev Up The Harley And The Jeep At The Same Time

from LmvdA on Flickr, great collection of patterns used on bus seats in the UK (mostly)

Christmas 1987, I found this in a Facebook group and just thought they were cool pictures

Photos from my trip to Vegas in January 2025

Mountain Dew and Monster either perfectly captured or helped create the look of 2012 Gamers, are you rocking the Mtn Dew Avalanche or the Monster Silverado?

This seems like a mostly Asia-exclusive thing, I love how they cram as much information as possible onto a page

The gambling industry puts billions into capturing our attention, which is why their ads look so crazy. Shiny Text Always

The branding surrounding piracy is something I've always admired - it's the same vibe as stamping the Louis Vuitton logo on a brick of coke or tagging trains

Mixtape culture in the 90s and early 00s set the standard for rap graphics, your local mall probably has a kiosk that sells DTG printed tees that look like this

Ghanaian graphic designer I found on Facebook, I've always liked this type of design but the closest thing I see locally is at flea markets
