Adding Bluetooth to a JVC KD-G820

Recently I got this JVC head unit from a thrift store for $5, and I had some Bluetooth receiver boards lying around from another project. I tapped into the J-Link connector for audio, and a ~5.7v power source on the bottom of the board for power. I added a 10 ohm resistor and a .1uf capacitor to the power input on the Bluetooth board to bring my 5.7v source closer to 5v, and to prevent engine whine coming through the audio signal. The new input shows up as "EXT IN" on the HU, the only thing I'm missing is the software from JVC to add custom images to the display. I've had it in my winter beater for a few days, and it's been flawless - it actually sounds better than the modern Kenwood unit I had in the truck beforehand.
